1. Information we process
Technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, viewed pages, referral source, visit time, and ad delivery status may be generated automatically. If you email us, we also process your email address and message.
2. Purposes and retention
We use information for security, diagnostics, audience measurement, content and advertising performance, and responding to inquiries. Retention follows provider settings and applicable law; information is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
3. Google Analytics
When Google Analytics 4 is enabled, cookies or similar technologies may measure page views, referral sources, devices, reading progress and active reading time, and the success of actions such as continuing, saving, or sharing stories. Raw search queries, comment text, nicknames and arbitrary URL parameters are not sent in these action statistics. Creator News does not directly track ad clicks or encourage users to click ads.
4. Performance measurement
Cloudflare hosting information and configured performance measurement may be used to inspect page usage and real-world performance signals. We use this information to find errors and slow experiences and to improve the site.
5. Advertising and cookies
After approval and configuration, Adsterra or Google AdSense may serve ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this website or other websites. Advertising cookies used by Google and its partners may support personalized advertising and delivery measurement. Advertising placements are labeled, and our advertising inquiry banners are distinguished from network ads.
6. Consent and choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser and opt out of Google's personalized advertising in Google Ad Settings. YourAdChoices below offers choices for other participating advertising vendors. Personalized Google ads for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland require consent through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP); we do not enable personalized ads before meeting these requirements.
7. External providers
Hosting, analytics, and advertising services are operated by external providers, including Cloudflare, Supabase, Adsterra and Google. Their privacy notices govern their processing practices and any international transfers.
8. Saved stories
Your reading list is stored locally in this browser. Comments and reactions also store a browser visitor identifier, the nickname you enter and reaction state, and send the identifiers needed to process these actions to Supabase. Submitted nicknames and comments are public. Browser reading lists, identifiers and reaction state are not synchronized across devices and are removed when you clear browser data. Contact us below to request removal of public comments or ask about your information.
