Jerome completed a script reading in September, and the production recently began filming. The series is scheduled for release in 2027.

Jerome will play Kwon Su-nam, a character described as distinctive and cheerful, in Palace Land. Kwon is presented as bringing energy to the amusement park story. The sitcom follows part-time workers living through everyday realities behind the park’s glamorous appearance. It also centers on the daily lives and relationships of young people sharing an amusement park dormitory. The cast includes Cha Jun-hwan, Woo Da-vi, Kim Gyu-won, Nancy, Kim Seung-ho, Ahn Ju-mi, singer Minseo, Lee Jae-won and former Girl’s Day member Park So-jin.

Jerome, whose real name is Lee Nam-su, became known through Comedy TV’s Ulzzang Generation in 2011. Jerome has covered makeup, hair, fashion and everyday life in vlogs on his YouTube channel. His beauty content has included basic, natural self-makeup and skin care, along with makeup suited to particular places or seasons. Jerome appeared in Standing Egg’s 2015 “Crazy” music video and a 2016 music video for “VOICE.”

Jerome began working on his channel in July 2017. It ranked second among South Korean male beauty YouTube channels in IMR’s ranking for the first week of January 2022. At that time, it had 380,000 subscribers and 12.5 million cumulative views. The same account said the channel had gained more than 150,000 subscribers during 2021 after passing 100,000. It described the channel as drawing relatively high numbers of likes and comments for its subscriber count and noted the presence of many comments in languages other than Korean.

Jerome performed at the 2021 Korea One-Person Media Festival. A program announcement issued before the event also listed him for its Rising Star talk show. BJ HannaTV, Heo Mino and cooking creator Yori Yongdi were among the others named for that program. The festival was scheduled for November 26 and 27 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul.
