Hwang Jung-eum reflected on her reaction to Jo Yoon-hee’s divorce in a video posted to her YouTube channel on October 14. The video shows Hwang spending time with Jo and Shim Yi-young on an outing to eat prawns.

Hwang told Jo she had been shocked by the divorce news and had thought Jo was strong. She said she believed an actress making that decision could face considerable pressure, including fear of losing work. Jo replied that she had not known she was capable of such courage. Hwang also said she admired how Jo was raising her daughter, Roa. Jo divorced actor Lee Dong-gun in 2020.
