Actor and former After School member Lee Jooyeon launched a personal YouTube channel. OSEN's September 7 reporting described a first video introducing the start of the channel and her newly arranged home. Lee explained why she began and shared both expectations and concerns about showing her daily life directly.

She described encouragement from friends and acquaintances who thought her personality suited YouTube. At the same time, she said she had wondered who would be interested in her. These were reflections on beginning to communicate through her own channel, rather than evidence that its performance had already been established.

Lee recalled people enjoying a different side of her during an appearance on The Manager. She said that experience encouraged her to show herself without excessive polish. This was her recollection and judgment, not measured evidence of a shared response from all viewers.

Although she wore makeup for the first recording, she said a more relaxed appearance might emerge over time. When she worried about whether the video would be entertaining, the production team joked about numbers being recorded, and she expressed a wish to keep the project going. The exchange combined the pressure of a first recording with an intention to continue.

Xportsnews reported that the video also included activities she wanted to try and family stories. Lee said she wanted to do something helpful for her parents and mentioned her mother's interest in driving. This was part of a discussion of possible activities, not a confirmed announcement of family members joining as regular guests.

Lee also described her own experiences with a car. According to Xportsnews, she said she had used the same car for about ten years and had personally refueled it infrequently, with her father helping. These were accounts of daily habits and assistance rather than professional accomplishments.

Context: Appearing on someone else's channel is different from beginning a channel under her own name. Encouragement from people around her, a television experience and a choice to show everyday life were connected in her account of that beginning. A regular schedule or subscriber growth has not been established here; later videos will show what the channel actually includes.
