Mimiminu has joined Channel A’s education variety show Teachers 3: Repeater War as an MC. After appearing in earlier seasons as an admissions-strategy mentor, he will help lead a survival-style admissions program featuring 100 repeat test-takers.

Mimiminu appears in a 3-MC lineup with Jun Hyun-moo and Jang Young-ran. He said his prior filming experience with them made the adjustment smooth, and described his role as helping read the students’ emotions while making the teachers’ explanations easier for viewers to follow.

He also connected the new format to Hell Study, the admissions content he ran on his own channel. he found the idea striking because it applies survival-show structure to admissions content with a large group of students in one space.

The teaching lineup includes Jung Seung-je, Yoo Dae-jong and Kim Ji-young. Mimiminu said the teachers brought different styles to the studio, and noted that the larger set and the process of deciding which students would work with which teachers added tension.

Mimiminu said long-term repeat test-takers stood out to him because he had taken the CSAT 5 times himself. He pointed to the selection process, the students who complete the CSAT run with the teachers, and the eventual biggest score improvement as key points to watch. Channel A’s Teachers 3: Repeater War premieres Thursday, October 15, at 10 p.m.
