Ahead of Earth Marble World Tour 4, KwakTube named food scenes and spontaneous humor among his strengths as a traveler. KwakTube is participating in Earth Marble World Tour 4 alongside Pani Bottle and Wonji. The ENA and TEO program sends the 3 travelers on journeys determined by dice rolls in a world travel board game designed by producer Kim Tae-ho. The trio has appeared on the show since season 1 in 2023.
KwakTube said he was moved to be part of the show through its 4th season. He said he had given considerable thought to continuing the approach to travel he has shown since season 1. He suggested watching how each traveler develops a story and said viewers who liked the trio’s early appearances might especially enjoy that progression.
This season’s concept is a travel film festival. KwakTube said he likes movies and has often described scenes from his travels as cinematic. KwakTube said he pays attention to narrative and story when making videos for his own channel. He said the film concept helped him immerse himself further in the trip.
KwakTube described his travel as a comedy if he had to give it a film genre. He said he wants to capture small moments of humor that arise during a journey instead of trying to force jokes. He also pointed to enjoying local food around the world as something the new trip will show.
The announced travel partners include actors Cheon Woo-hee and Kang So-ra, EXO members Kai and Sehun, and broadcaster Park Myung-soo. KwakTube said several combinations surprised him. He described an initial awkwardness that gave way to finding a rhythm together, an experience he said differed from traveling with people he clicked with immediately. More partners from other fields are expected to join.
KwakTube won season 2 and said he was interested in the prize for winning again. He said his friendship with Pani Bottle and Wonji means he approaches the trip as a chance to make entertaining videos together rather than focusing only on competition. This season’s voting combines audience ballots with those of a panel drawn from the film, travel and entertainment fields.
The season 4 board adds special spaces named “Blockbuster Hall” and “EYE MAX Hall.” The former was introduced as a space for large-scale scenery and attractions, while the latter features unusual travel courses. New destinations have also been added to the board. Kyuhyun joins Noh Hong-chul as a studio host. The first episode was scheduled for October 17 at 7:50 p.m. on ENA.
